Tranquil retreat in the heart of Catania, surrounded by beautiful Sicilian plants, making it feel like a hidden oasis. The hotel is conveniently located near the historical Via Etnea and the Duomo square, allowing guests to easily explore the city's charm and history. The AMT 457 shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel, providing convenient transportation options. The nearby Corso Italia offers a vibrant shopping area with elegant boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, perfect for indulging in some retail therapy or enjoying a delicious meal.
Limited control over the air conditioning regulation.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central bus and train station, making transportation to other cities and the airport very accessible. The hotel is also a short distance from the airport, and not far from the main square of the city center. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were impressive. Breakfast was satisfying, with a good mix of sweet and savory options. The staff was friendly and helpful.
All was perfect.

For the price we paid, our stay at Hotel Rigel was exceptional. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a powerful shower and a fridge that came in handy. The location was perfect, being close to both the train and bus stations, which made it convenient for exploring different areas. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Hotel breakfast could have been better, with more variety and options available.

Services are excellent. Staff tried their best to help customers and to provide information (eg. Using computer to translate customers' request, provide electric pot...etc). Room was decently decorated, comfortable and spacious. Location is great for travellers who need to take bus or train.

Staff very nice. Very clean hotel, located 7 minutes from the railway station and bus terminal regional and local, 10 minutes by bus to the beach. Recommended for those who want to visit neighboring towns.

The hotel is located near the train and bus stations. , there are a few restaurants and stores nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the Wi-Fi worked well.
We didn't enjoy our stay at this hotel. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful.

Extremely good location, just 5-minute walk from the Central train station. It is super if you want to take bus to travel to other cities, such as Taormina and Siracusa as the hotel is just next to the bus station. Very clean and comfortable room with a small balcony in our room. Although the breakfast area is small, however, the choices of food are enough and we were served with fresh boiled eggs.

The garden was a lovely place to escape the chaos of the city, unlike the AMT 457 shuttle bus which was a delightful way to get stuck in traffic. The shopping area on Corso Italia was so elegant, I felt underdressed just walking by. The hotel's mix of old and new made it the perfect spot for both work and play. The clean energy from the solar power was so refreshing, just like the mold in my room. And the staff? Well, let's just say their indifference to my linguistic abilities was truly endearing.
Mold, mold everywhere, covering every surface in my room. A true feast for the eyes.

Although it was about a 10 to 20 minute walk to the centre this hotel was in my opinion ideally situated. It was right next to the bus/coach station and a stones throw from central station. There were some lovely scrumptious cafes and restaurants in very close proximity and shops alike. The staff were very helpful indeed. The reception staff were friendly and took time to explain where various places were.A very good recommendation on the restaurant front thankyou.
All I would say and it is a very small point but having an english tv channel available even if it was a news channel would have been good and tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been the icing on the cake. Apart from that thankyou very much to all of the staff for making my stay pleasurable and comfortable.

It's clean and cheap, breakfast is good.
Location is aweful, what a dump! Doesn't feel safe walking from the hotel to town in the dark... Staff did not speak English/German/French or Dutch and the beds are way too hard. Keycard didn't work had to wait half an hour to enter the room.
